Membership

The Puget Sound CFMA chapter is a great way to get involved in your local industry. Our chapter will allow you to network and socialize with your peers, make new contacts in a wide array of supporting professions, and stay current on topics that affect you and your business. We value our membership’s commitment to our Puget Sound Chapter and ask everyone to spread the word about CFMA so that we may continue to grow and achieve our goals.

CFMA's General Members represent all types of contractors—including general contractors and specialty trades—as well as developers, construction managers, architects, engineers, principals, and material and equipment suppliers.

Associate Members include professionals in the accounting, insurance, surety, software, legal, and banking industries, as well as any other specialist who serves in the construction industry.

"Establishing a network in the construction finance community of greater Seattle was a goal of mine when I first started with Venture General Contracting, and cultivating the relationships I developed has been an important part of my professional development. I did not have a background in construction when I started with Venture, so finding peers and professionals in the industry to learn from was particularly critical for me. Shortly after starting my role, I was invited as a guest to a CFMA meeting where I met Adam Pinsky, who at the time was CFO at SME Inc. of Seattle and now is CFO of Bayley Construction. Since that introduction 3 years ago, Adam and I have corresponded regularly to share ideas and collaborate. He patiently answered all my rookie questions and graciously helped with a number of issues over the years. I consider him a friend and mentor and look forward to many more productive happy hours together. Besides Adam, I have also met a number of other professionals through the CFMA chapter that has been invaluable resources during my time so far at Venture. There are a number of benefits that the CFMA offers, but the networking opportunities are one that stands out in my mind." --Brian Cimprich | C.F.O.
