Specialty contractor looking for a project accountant for our Seattle office.
Specific responsibilities
- Timely billing of projects/service.
- Collections.
- Set up new customers.
- Process Change orders.
- Process Job cost adjustment
- Deposit processing.
- Process Sales Tax/B&O.
- Process lien release and lien waivers.
- Preparing, organizing, setting up and managing document files.
Skills/Knowledge
- 7+ years of related administrative experience.
- Associates degree or its equivalent.
- Team orientation required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in following established procedures.
- Ability to perceive problems and report them to management.
- Ability to follow direction from professional, administrative, and technical staff members.
- Ability to perform moderately complex mathematical calculations, operate office equipment, and ability to follow instructions.
- Time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to handle several tasks at once, while staying calm and professional.
- Prior construction experience preferred.
